New Irish By design web site launched
This project was given to Design Solution by the client after previous development companies had failed to meet their brief and the deadline was looming ever closer. However we managed to finish the site to our usual high standard and on time. The site features a secure shopping cart system, database driven product catalogue and wedding list manager.

Email Attachments
Our virus protection software is working hard to keep your computers happier and healthier. However, we have had a few phone calls and emails from customers regarding attachments with multiple file extensions being removed. Though these attachments turned out to be innocent, the virus scanner can sometimes see these attachments as a potential threat as many viruses use the same technique for running programs on your computer. In future when sending attachments with multiple file extensions in emails use zip or StuffIt software to archive the files before sending. This will ensure that they will be sent and received without being removed. Further to this use these guidelines when sending attachments with your DS email account:
Guidelines for Naming Attachments
Follow these guidelines to reduce the number of emails rejected by the Mail Scanner:
- Use short filenames
- Use all small letters in filename
- Do not use spaces in a filename
- Do not use special characters (?, *, @, #, $, %, etc)
- Use hyphens or underscores
- Do not use double or multiple file extensions (eg. filename.vbs.doc)
Email Mailbox quotas
It has come to our attention that people are regularly nearing their email mailbox quotas on the server.
Please take time to visit these links:

Happy Christmas and New Year to all of our clients, friends and suppliers.
