Spam Assassin
At Design Solution we realise that Spam is an increasing problem and last year were pleased to announce Spam filtering for all of our e-mail customers. E-mails thought to be Spam, are tagged with '{Spam?}' in the subject line making it easy to set up rules or filters to move these messages to a junk mailbox, or to delete them.
However, Spam is getting increasingly more complex and clever at finding ways of circumventing systems such as ours. It is because of this that we are pleased to announce the immediate availability of our new Spam detection system, Spam Assassin.
Spam Assassin is an open source system that applies many complex tests to e-mails. Based on these tests, it will give an e-mail a "Spam Score". When the Spam Score reaches a certain level ( currently set to 9 ), it will be tagged as '{Spam?}'. Customers can view the Spam Score by looking at the headers of an Email and looking for the 'X-DS-MailScanner-SpamScore:' line. The number of s's indicate the score.
We are confident that Spam Assassin will help to catch more Spam mails and thus keep your In Box free of junk. Spam Assassin is provided for all e-mail customers at no extra cost.
