Vega Records
Vega Records are an established House music record label founded by DJ and producer Louie Vega. They approached us to develop a digital music store to integrate with their existing website with an aim to provide their fans with their back catalogue of releases as well as exclusive content and mixes.
We developed the bespoke e-commerce platform for them with custom importer software that utilises ID3 tags to name and arrange the tracks online without the need for any XML. The store launched in 2008 and we continued to work with Vega to develop the platform further. In summer 2009 we launched a new store which included sales of physical merchandise such as t-shirts and record bags as well as an online ticket store, selling digital tickets to parties, club nights and other events organised by the label.
